Steven karl Hulme. passed away on the 6th September 2000 age 20 he was hit by a train in kiddwelly
wales. but his home was with me his mam and his 3 brothers and his sister in swansea.Steven wernt
working at the time of his death.Steven was my first born i had him when i was 16 he was the
beggining of my life. there are no words i could say or write to explain what he ment to me i miss
him endlessly my love grows for him every passing day. He was the most kind hearted person you could
have met. To me he was perfect.
Steven was born at 3.40 in the afternoon on the 22nd January he was 7lbs he was my smallest baby.
but he grew to be over 6ft. what hurts is the fact that they couldnt tell me what time he died, they
just told me it was anything between 8.20 to 8.55 in the night i get so angry over that cause the
train driver must have known what time he stopped the train after he hit him i thought they log all
there times in. They knew steven was there the gaurd had already stopped the train and told the
driver to drop the speed from 65 mph to 25 mph.Although steven was walking on the outside of the
track he didnt hear the train comeing behind him and it hit him.Steven was still alive when the
conductor ran back to him, the driver of the train tryed in vain to get help from the phone on the
train. but when he was trying to get through to the station it was engaged so the only thing he
could do was move the train further down the line till he came to a crossing so he could use a
public phone, At this time steven was all on his own cause the conductor had got back on the train
to move it. By the time the police and the medics had got to Steven he had died all on his own, that
hurts more than anything i just wish the conductor had stayed with him so he wouldnt have had to be
on his own when he died. Steven was a happy go lucky young man his life was just starting. He was a
very kind persoI and he would help anyone if he could. Its so unfair that his life was cut so short,
where it could have been prevented if they had stopped the train.

I am a tiny angel
I'm smaller than your thumb
I live in peoples pockets
That's where I have my fun
I don't suppose you've seen me
I'm too tiny to detect
Though i'm with you all the time
I doubt we've ever met
Before I was an angel...
I was a fairy in a flower
God himself hand picked me
And gave me angel power
Now god has many angels
That he trains in angel pools
We become his eyes and ears and hands
We become his special tools
And because god is so busy
With way too much to do
He said that my assignment
Is to keep close watch on you
When he tucked me in your pocket
He blessed you with angel care
Then told me to never leave you
And I vowed always to be there

When angels sense you need them
and angels always do.....
they come unseen from everywhere
to help and comfort you
they hover close beside you
till all your cares are gone
till they can see you're ready

Then some of them may fly away
and take their gentle touch
to other hearts that need
the love of angels very much
but one at least stays with you
as your constant friend and guide
for guardian angels never leave
they're always at your side
